The cosmic byte Hyperion wired + wireless mouse is good. I'm not used to the position of the side buttons as the mouse i used earlier was having those buttons on a comfortable position, with this mouse i have to adjust the way I hold the mouse. But I'm a little disappointed with the customer service, after I bought the mouse i found out that while using wireless the mouse gets stuck at some point, it's like the mouse lost the wireless connection. I did raise a replacement request but they said they would take the mouse back and check for an issue and after they find out the issue oy then they would replace the mouse and that would take 4-7 days. And I'm a person who uses mouse for work and gaming. Using a normal mouse would effect my workflow so I opted to use the mouse less wirelessly and more wired. I just wished they could make the replacement request a bit hassle free. Placing a replacement request and the whole replacement process felt a bit harsh.
It's been 2 months of usage and here is my review:
Casual gamers won't find any issues. Just buy this if you have the budget. Pro gamers i suggest you play using the highest polling rate and 3000dpi for all the games. I found it more like a universal settings for all the games I've played.
The side buttons could have been a little bit more tactile than being soft. And the position is a little high for me so I had to adjust the way I hold the mouse.
Mouse is a bit heavy but not that heavy to play for long hours. But if you use for work you would feel a bit of fatigue. Because you don't move your wrist that vigorously when you work but while gaming you wrist moves a lot so you don't feel much of a fatigue.
If you have small hands you might find it difficult to use. The mouse is ok for medium sized and perfect for large sized hands.
The software is good, clean and easy to use. It also includes macro program in the software. There is no macro button on the mouse you can configure any button into a macro that's all.
The only thing that worries me is if the battery gets damaged will i be still able to use the mouse wired or will need to purchase another one. I guess that's something only time and cosmic byte can answer.
That's my review of the mouse i bought.
Cheers
