Domestic Shipping Policy
We offer free shipping across India.
- Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 working days.
- Orders placed before 3:00 PM on a business day are usually shipped the same day, subject to:
- Successful payment confirmation
- Stock availability
- Card security and fraud checks
- Orders placed after 3:00 PM, on Sundays, or on public holidays will be dispatched on the next business day.
- During peak sale periods, festivals, or unforeseen circumstances, dispatch and delivery timelines may be extended.
Additional Conditions:
- We do not ship to PO Boxes or military addresses.
- Deliveries to remote or rural areas may require additional time.
- Customized or made-to-order products may take up to 10 working days to ship.
Octroi / State Entry Taxes
- For shipments outside Pune, Octroi or local entry taxes (if applicable) are levied by the respective state authorities.
- These charges are beyond our control, non-reimbursable, and must be borne by the customer.
- In case the customer refuses delivery due to such charges, product cost and/or return shipping charges may be deducted from the refund.

Order Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Customer
- Orders can be cancelled before shipment only.
- Cancellation is permitted only when the order status is “COD Confirmed” or “ePayment Received.”
- To cancel:
- Email us with your order number, or
- Request cancellation through your account section on the website.
Once an order is shipped, cancellation is not permitted.
Customers may refuse delivery, and refunds (if applicable) will be initiated only after the product is returned to our warehouse.
TheCosmicByte.com reserves the right to determine whether an order qualifies for cancellation, and customers agree to abide by such decisions.

We reserve the right to cancel orders due to reasons including but not limited to:
- Incorrect pricing
- Inventory discrepancies
- Technical or operational issues
In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, or the recipient is unavailable, any additional re-delivery or return costs shall be borne by the customer.
Replacement Policy
- Replacement requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
- Replacements are provided only after prior confirmation by our team.
- Replacement requests must be initiated through the Return Order option on the website.
Replacement Eligibility
Replacements are not applicable for:
- Opened or used products
- Items not in original condition or packaging
- Physically damaged items (except transit damage)
- Products delivered outside India
- Electronics, unless defective or incorrectly delivered
If a product is:
- Damaged during transit
- Defective due to manufacturing issues
- Incorrectly delivered
We will arrange a free replacement, subject to verification.
Return & Refund Policy
Return with Refund Options
Eligible products may be returned with the following refund options:
- Store Credit
- Issued as Cosmic Byte store credit
- Valid for 3 months from the date of issuance
- No return shipping charges deducted
- Refund to Bank Account
- A return handling charge of ₹150 per product will be deducted
- Refund processed after product inspection and approval
Note:
- Returns are available only for eligible products.
- Not all products qualify for return.
Return Conditions
- Return requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
- Products must be:
- Unused
- In original packaging
- With all accessories, manuals, and tags intact
Missing accessories, damaged products, or altered items will be returned back to the customer without refund or replacement.
- Returns must be initiated only through the website.
- Custom-made or personalized products are non-returnable and non-refundable.
- Shipping charges and COD charges are non-refundable.
Refund Processing
Product Unavailability
- If a replacement is unavailable, alternate options will be suggested.
- The customer has the final decision.
- Full refunds are issued if:
- The product is unavailable
- The order cannot be shipped
- The delivery address is outside the serviceable area
Refunds are processed within 7 working days from approval.
Customer-Initiated Refunds
- Refunds are allowed only if the order has not been shipped.
- No refunds are provided for:
- Delivered products
- Opened or used items
Shipping for Returned Merchandise
- Customers are advised to use insured and trackable shipping while returning products.
